Day 7 - Fernsehturm

 Day 7

We went to school today through the 4th block and then we went to see the TV tower (Fernsehturm). All of our partners were able to come with us for this excursion, which was great!

The Stuttgart TV tower was the first one of its kind in the world. It is 217 meters high and was completed in 1956. The elevator took us to the top at a rate of 5 meters per second. It was a little bit cloudy (and super windy!), but we still had a great 360 degree view from the top!

After the tower, we grabbed some lunch (Döner!) and then went to Pinguin Eis to get some ice cream. We sat in the park across the way to eat our ice cream, but we didn't stay very long, since it was kind of cold and started to rain a bit.
